Vickie Wesolowsky

Co-Owner, Director, Instructor

Miss Vickie is our lead jazz, acro and lyrical instructor. Through her years of dance she has always aspired to become a dance instructor. She started dancing at the age of three in Caroline Dance West, and later danced with Sylvan
Studios. Through her 12+ years as a teacher her students have received awards such as First place overall, scholarships to Intensives around the world, Most outstanding and Most promising awards. Miss Vickie has been awarded Best overall Choreography at multiple competitions and and has taken home 4 different Grand Championships at Central Alberta Dance Festivals. 
Miss Vickie is a fully certified ADAPT instructor completing three years of training in Toronto through the guidance of Mr. and Mrs. Foley. She is certified in her Junior and Intermediate Acrobatique Acro dance syllabus and has most recently certified in Alixa Flexibility Level 1 and 2 stretch and conditioning syllabi.

Alyssa Landry

Co-Owner, Director, Instructor

Miss Alyssa started dancing when she was 4 years old taking tap. She was raised in Central Alberta and danced at a few local studios as she grew up, with the dream of becoming a Dance Instructor! From there she started taking extra disciplines -Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Musical Theatre, Lyrical, and Hip Hop, assisting, and later on teaching. With over 12 years teaching experience, Alyssa is a fully Certified ADAPT instructor for Tap and Jazz, Wymbin Children’s Yoga, and Acrobatic Art Level 1&2 winning the Dale White scholarship - exemplifying a passion for creativity - in her 2nd year. She has attended many teacher’s courses and conferences in Central Alberta, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, and New York. Her numbers have received top awards at competitions/festivals including Top Choreography. Alyssa loves to teach all disciplines but has a soft spot in her heart for Musical Theatre, Tap, Hip Hop, and pre school classes! Alyssa Co-owns Westland Dance Co. with Miss Vickie. When Alyssa is not teaching, you can find her hanging out with her daughter and son Zella and Corbin, her husband Brady and their dog Piper.

Sarah Arseneault

Instructor

Miss Sarah's love of Dance started at the age of 5 when she stepped into her first ballet class . This love of dance has grown into a life long passion . Miss Sarah is an incredible, award winning dancer coming from DanceHouse Studios in Red Deer, AB.Through the years Miss Sarah has expanded her love of dance and is classically trained in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop and tap placing and receiving many high scores and awards within the competition circuit through out her teenage years . She has taken many classes, workshops, and camps learning from amazing dancers such as Toni Shenfield, Brittany Anderson and Joey Matt . Miss Sarah is a technically focussed teacher and believes that with hard work anything is possible! She is very excited to share her love of dance with the future generation of dancers!

Brianna Laskosky

Instructor

Miss Bri first started dancing when she was eight years old. It was then, in her first Jazz class with Miss Vickie, that she fell in love with movement. Since then, Miss Bri has started training in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, and Hip Hop. Her passion for dance has grown to a new level these last few years as she has experienced working with young students as an assistant. Nothing is more rewarding to her then seeing both her fellow dancers and younger students grow at competitions and recitals. Miss Bri is so excited to be taking on her new role as an instructor at Westland Dance Co.
